KIshield Potassium iodide tablets 10 FULL BOTTLES !

Potassium iodide (KI) is a chemical compound that can be used to protect the thyroid gland from radiation injury caused by radioactive iodine (radioiodine). Most radiological emergencies may release large amounts of radioiodine to the environment. Since iodine concentrates in the thyroid gland, inhalation or ingestion of food contaminated with the radioiodine will lead to radiation injury to the thyroid. This includes increased risk of thyroid cancer and other life threatening diseases. Thyroid cancer is not curable in most radiological emergency cases, and taking measures that reduce the chance of developing thyroid cancer is general practice. Each bottle provides 15 days of protection for adults, or a full 1 month supply for children. 30 65mg tablets. new manufacture in the US with a 2022 expiration. Family pack of 10 full bottles
